Fitting Guide

Inflating your fender to the correct size is often overlooked, yet is one of the most important aspects in protecting your boat with Fendequip Fendercovers

By using this fitting guide you will be able to inflate your fenders correctly, which will allow you to choose the correct Fendequip Fendercovers.

For the perfect fit of your Fendequip Fendercovers we would recommend that you slightly deflate your fender, fit the cover and re-inflate to your fender manufacturers specifications.
If this information is not available we would recommend the fender is inflated to a maximum of  2 PSI.

It is very important not to over inflate your fenders. Inflating above the manufacturers specifications or 2 PSI will reduce the performance and may cause premature failure but it will also void the warranty.

When a fender is over inflated its sides bow out and the ends become rounded, as the examples of the over inflated fenders on the left show.

The fender guide is to be used as a general guide. Common sense, as well as an understanding of you boat and mooring conditions must be considered. The final responsibility has to be taken by the consumer due to so many variables
